Traveling with you pet

Emergency Preparedness / Disaster readiness
  1. Current Photographs of your pets{at least 2, Head & body}
  2. Microchip and or Tattoo number {Not all chips can be read by some scanners}
  3. Medications, Special foods
  4. All paper work related to each animal in a water tight pouch { AKC records, shots, etc. }
  5. Crates, Water Bowls, Leads, TOYS, Paper Towels, Plastic Bags, Can Opener
  6. Basic First Aid kit
  7. Food & Water for at least 3 days { remember dry kibble may get wet if not protected in a plastic bag }
  8. At least 2 forms of ID ON YOUR PET. A ID tag from PetsMart or similar and YOUR name/number on the collar.{People advise not putting the pets name on the ID}
  9. A Back Up Plan in case you can't get to your animals and some one else needs to move them
  10. Two collars per pet, BOTH on them {there regular one and one other}As they may slip one and the other will still be on. Make sure you connect both to your lead!
